The social media has gone agog after seeing the video of a pregnant female vulcanizer in Delta state. The video of the young woman who was spotted at Bomadi where she was fixing a deflated tyre was posted by Olaniyan Tosin.
Boiloaded.com gathered that the vulcanizer has a young child as she was seen in the company of a child while trying to do her business. Interestingly, the woman also turned out to be about seven months pregnant.
In Nigeria, there are some vocational skills that are considered to be off limits to women as people who dominate such skills are mainly men. Finding a woman who is interested in this trade is weird as men do it often.
However, this pregnant female vulcanizer has decided to break the norm and do it regardless of her condition. One would expect to find a woman like that doing jobs that does not exert so much pressure on her considering the fact that she is in her third trimester.
The hardworking woman just does not want to be relegated to the room where she gets to stretch her legs. She prefers to work and sort herself with the little she can make from this business.
